My 2 year natural hair anniversary was Feb. 1th apparently and I missed it.  However, I did realize it about a day or two later and I took some photos.  So here we go...

Sometimes you just want to be silly with your hair and take a photo! LOL

Jan. 2013

I've discovered Miss Jessie's Curling Pudding and I love it.  The first 2 photos are from Day 1 and the last photo is from a later date.   But I'm sure I reapplied the pudding and styling gel.  Both times I washed or co-washed my hair.  Then applied my Giovanni Direct Leave-In Conditioner.  Followed by adding the Eco-Styler Gel with Olive Oil, and last, by shaking my head wildly so the curls could separate better.  I loved the end results!

Long time no hair see!  School has taken it's toll on my hair for sure.  Currently it's dry and needs some TLC.  I'm working on nursing it back to health though.  It's grown quite a bit since the photos I last posted.  Here's a look see.

Well I've made it.  I'm finally 100% natural.  It's a pretty good feeling too.  The last time I BC'd I wasn't as confident in my hair or my ability to manage short natural hair.  This time I've been taking the extra time out to do something to my hair LOL.  I can't wait for it to fit into a ponytail though :(

My hair is different lengths around my head but it looks like I am shoulder length in the back.  I have pictures that I'll post too.

Yesterday, February 17, 2012, was my 1 year transitioning anniversary! Yay me!!! In celebration I did another BC. But this time I cut all the relaxed ends off except for the front. I lefty front longer so I can disguise my hair if need be. So here are some photos. Here's a year's worth of growth. (I think I cut a little too much in some parts option Lmbo but oh we'll).

Just a couple of photos that I took a couple of days ago.  Just thought I'd share :)

Quick Update:

Yah! I braided my hair in two french braids and obviously my hair is getting longer.  I just did a wash and deep condition that I felt really good about.

My hair felt a little dry today so I tried to do a conditioning treatment.  I don't know if it worked so well though.  Here's what I did:

I separated my hair into four section and sprayed each section with water to make it a slightly damp.  Then I applied some Hollywood Beauty Cholesterol Conditioner.  Following this I added some EVOO w/ peppermint oil.  Last, I put on a shower cap and let it sit for a little over a hour.

Once I read my hair didn't feel so good.  I also detangled my hair with a wide tooth comb.  I know I'm transitioning and my hair is rather fragile, but I saw quite a few broken hairs.  This doesn't scare me because I have transitioned before (FOR 3 YEARS).  So I just braided my hair in three sections to let it airdry.  Tomorrow, if I have the time, I will do a rollerset.  I miss doing those things.  They are sooooo cute lol.  I'm getting pretty close to APL.  My goal is Full APL by December 2011.

Here's a pic of a rollerset...

Today is a pretty simple hair today.  I spritzed my hair down with my new moisturizing mix (courtesy of Motown Girl Hair recipe) paying special attention to my new growth.  Then I added some HoneySuckle Rose with Water to my ends.  For styling I pinned my hair in a bun and threw on my phonie-pony (courtesy of my friend SF).  Here's a photo.
