Med School Adventures

 

Recently I received my OFFICIAL acceptance letter to medical school.  I am set to begin this summer but I don't know where O_o.  I know you are wondering how can I have received an acceptance letter yet the location is unknown.  My answer to that is, the school I will be attending has 3 different campuses.  2 of the sites are perfect because they are fairly close to where I currently live.  Actually, there is one particular site that reigns supreme.  It's close to some well established hospitals and I'm sure the hands-on experiences will be the phenomenal.  The other location is far...I'm talking nearly 100 miles away.  Needless to say, I prefer to be assigned to 1 of the 2 sites closest to where I live.  

Don't get me wrong all 3 campuses are capable of providing my classmates and me with an excellent medical education it's just about what I prefer.  Second, if I am assign to the farthest location I won't be turning down my acceptance.  I've waited too long to start this portion of my life, and while it will be a difficult situation my husband and I will work it out.  But for now we'll just focus on the positive...I'M GOING TO BE A DOCTOR :) LOL
